Lake Isabella, CA – A significant crash involving a semi-truck and a Subaru Impreza erupted into flames on Highway 178 near Old Isabella Road, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident took place around 12:15 p.m. when the red Subaru caught fire following the impact.
Witnesses indicate that there was still a person inside the burning vehicle, prompting a bystander to try to help. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, including firefighters and police, who worked to extinguish the fire and render medical assistance.
