San Jose, CA – A multi-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon left one individual with serious injuries on Almaden Expressway, as reported by the San Jose Police Department. The incident took place around 1:35 p.m., prompting a swift response from emergency services.
One victim received life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, their condition has since been upgraded to critical but stable.
In light of the crash’s severity, authorities closed both the southbound and northbound lanes of Almaden Expressway, specifically between Branham Lane and Hillsdale Avenue, for several hours while investigators examined the scene.
