Riverside, CA – A tragic motorcycle accident in Riverside claimed the life of 28-year-old Jose Ramirez on Sunday evening, according to local authorities. The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Myers Street in the Arlington area.
Police report that Ramirez was involved in a collision with another vehicle. He was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle reportedly remained at the scene following the crash.
Statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reveal that in 2017, 5,172 motorcyclists lost their lives in motorcycle accidents, a slight decrease from 5,337 in 2016.
