North Sacramento, CA – Juvenile Pedestrian Injured in Vehicle Collision on Hillsdale Blvd

North Sacramento, CA (April 6, 2025) โ€“ A child was injured Sunday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle on Hillsdale Boulevard in North Sacramento. The collision occurred around 5:14 p.m. in the 5500 block of Hillsdale Blvd, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Authorities say a red Acura sedan struck the young pedestrian, leaving the child with a head injury. Emergency medical services were dispatched immediately following the 911 call, with the incident classified as โ€œ1179 โ€“ Traffic Collision with EMS en route,โ€ signaling the seriousness of the situation.

Paramedics provided on-site care before transporting the child to a local hospital. As of now, the severity of the injury has not been officially confirmed, and no updates on the childโ€™s condition have been released.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the collision. It remains unclear whether the driver of the Acura will face any citations or legal action. The childโ€™s identity and age have not been disclosed for privacy reasons.

Traffic was briefly affected in the area while first responders tended to the scene and cleared the roadway.
