Pomona, CA – Early Thursday morning, a tragic accident involving two semi-trucks took place on the westbound side of Interstate 10 at the transition ramp leading to northbound State Route 57, officials reported. The collision was first noted in the early hours of March 27, prompting a significant response from the California Highway Patrol and emergency services.
According to initial reports, this accident resulted in at least one fatality while other individuals involved in the incident sustained only minor injuries. The two big rigs involved in the crash suffered considerable damage.
As a result of the accident, the transition ramp from I-10 westbound to SR-57 northbound was temporarily closed.
