Roseville, CA (May 23, 2024) – Following a collision, a portion of the eastbound Interstate 80 lanes near the Placer-Sacramento County boundary were shut down.
A white SUV with serious damage was seen on Caltrans cameras off of I-80 close to Riverside Avenue after the crash. According to California Highway Patrol traffic records, the collision occurred around 11:15 a.m., blocking nearly all lanes of the roadway for the next hour or more. EMTs transported at least two people to the hospital as a result of the crash, though their current conditions are unknown. Witnesses were asked to contact Roseville officials and troopers with the California Highway Patrol.
