Sacramento, CA (April 22, 2024) – According to California Highway Patrol records, an early Monday morning collision involving a bicycle and a large truck occurred at Mack Road and Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento.
Personnel were mobilized to the site at 5:52 a.m. According to dispatcher radio communications, the male cyclist was struck by the large truck while the driver was traveling at a speed of about 40 mph. The cyclist was transported to an emergency room, though their current condition is unknown. The CHP is handling the ongoing inquiry and has not released further information in the meantime.
