Sacramento, CA (September 27, 2024) – A crash involving a box truck and at least two other vehicles was reportedly causing a slowdown on Highway 16 in Amador County on Friday afternoon, September 27.
The California Highway Patrol online logs show that crews responded to reports of the crash near Latrobe Road around 4:30 p.m. The CHP logs further indicated that the crash was blocking all lanes on the highway. In the meantime, it was unclear if any serious injuries were, but CHP troopers confirmed that an ambulance was responding to the scene. Witnesses were asked to get in touch with the CHP or local authorities if they had additional information related to this crash. However, the CHP is investigating the events leading up to the accident.
