Sacramento, CA (June 6, 2024) – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol confirmed on Monday that a wrong-way collision occurred on the Capital City Freeway in Sacramento overnight, resulting in the death of one individual. CHP reported the collision at approximately 9:15 p.m. along the Capital City Freeway, which is situated near Exposition Boulevard.
